I had the same problem Maori, first few runs were inthe 15's on street tires, then got my new tires and launch down (still on street tires) and hit high 14's.

I'm looking to pick up a little goodie for my truck from this guy near me. It's not your typical 3rd gen truck but certainly worthy to be seen in a performance thread . If I go see him I'll try to snap a few pics of his ride.

Wow,,, that is some ride! Most folks keep their rides in a garage, he needs a cage.

Cool. I know everyone at some point started as just like i did and just takes practice and getting to know how the truck responds and reacts.
Saw the vid of you spinning down the track. That must of been an experience.

Yeah as the weather is now on the rise it is going to be a while before i go to the track again.

Maori, tell us about your truck. Were'd the instrutment cluster come from?

Sorry, I got lost, thought I was on the 03 thread.. Maybe posting there would be more appropriate.

These is still in the 3rd gen section right? Or does the 03 have thier own section.
Mine is a 04 and the cluster is stock.

Oh it was fun, but thats what I get for hammering it off the line, I thought it grip a little better than though but oh well, live and learn right.

Data Loggers is specifically about performance, not just for our 03 trucks.
