Ive been told 3in lift is really hard on the steering components and other stuff up there. Would it be best to do a 2.5'' or was the guy full of s**t? Also I assume with a 2.5'' body lift 33s would fit just fine and not rub while turning?

I'm going to get a quote on this today from a local shop -

I think they want 434$ for the kit, whats typical for an install.

And im thinking if I buy new tires, maybe rims they should give me a discount?

I have a 3" PA kit on my 02 ram. It also has a 6" fabtech suspension lift on it. The steering is not affected at all with the body lift, as the kit from PA comes with extensions. Looking under my truck right now, the tie rod ends are perfectly parallel, and all is solid. Highly recommend this kit. Zero problems thus far.

Oh, and I got my kit for $300 off ebay. Genuine PA kit. Had it installed by a friend with a shop for about $80.

So I have heard bad things, and good things about body lifts. I heard that body lifts will mess up your body, and it is pretty bad for your truck. But I have also heard praises of BL's, so I don't know what to believe, I was hoping ya'll could help me out. I have the RC 3" suspension lift and want just a few more inches, but don't want to have to drop $900 for the RC 6" suspension lift, not to mention the installation fees. The PA 3" BL looks so good for $450, so I really want to get it if it isn't bad for your truck. Thanks in advance.

Well I recently bought a BNIB PA 3" BL with four gap guards for 300 shipped from a guy on DT. Its sitting in my living room now and as soon as the weather warms a bit, I will be putting it on.
