Turtle wax "Black Box"
I know this might get moved to the detailing section but I thought I'd give it a shot here anyways....
I have been contimplating getting Turtle wax's "Black Box" which is their wax for black vehicles. ( I am partial to Meguire's) Anyway I broke down and gave it a try and all I can say is I am VERY pleased. I love clean black vehicles but I HATE waxing them because if not done right you can see every swirl/imperfection. This stuff came in a 3-4 step process and was easier than lacing up velcro shoes.

I wonder about the "Black Box" every time I go to get wax but I have been using another Turtle Wax product that has grown on me (ICE)! I have always benn a Meguiars/Mothers in the past but I guess Turtle Wax has stepped up the quality of there products! Guess this Spring I'll try the "Black Box"!!!

I was reading reviews and everyone said it was a mess and didn't last long so I made my own "system" out of meguiars ultimate compound, cleaner wax, nxt 2.0, and clear coat wax...it cost over $40 but I'm super pleased with the result...a bird **** on it and it ran off like water!

well my system doesnt have any mixing, its just hitting the problem areas with a polishing cloth and some ultimate compound (which is VERY mild) after claybarring, then some cleaner wax, then the NXT 2.0, then a clear coat wax. I cant even find most of the scratches, as long as they werent into the metal.
Its not something you need to do often, as the entire system is somewhat abrasive. But if you havent done it in awhile, it makes the thing look like glass. Thats a crappy cell pic but you can hardly tell glass from metal.
