Those who are running it in a gas engine are running 1 oz. per 5 gallons of gas.

There is a LOT of reading on this across many forums. I do not run this, but have thought about it many times. I do however get my gas at a 100% real gas station whenever I can (about 90% of the time). So I don't run ethanol thru my system like most do. I still may try it out for the cleaning properties. I don't think it can hurt a thing, since it's produced to be mixed with gas and burned in 2 cycle engines...

Best thread I've seen on TCW3 as a gas additive so far:

I'm not talking about ATF, I'm talking about a two stroke oil that is manufactured to be added to and burned with gas. The theory is that it acts as a top end lubricant and cleans fuel line and engine components it comes in contact with...

I think MMO which is popular as a gas and oil additive is similar to ATF.
MMO has a huge following.

I've used MMO in my ATVs for years. It has a property that makes water molecules adhere to it, unlike regular oil. This works well on vehicles that go thru deep water and may get a little in them.

The big three that you read about all the time is MMO, TCW3 and Acetone. Of the three I'd be most leary of Acetone because I'd think it would dry out seals. MMO has been around forever. TCW3 is newer but most I'm reading about it says it lubricates as well and cleans better than MMO. It's also better for O2s and cats as it is made to burn 100% in the combustion process and leaves no ash or other residue...

I'm gonna read this thread you posted, and give this a try.

I've stopped measuring MPG for tanks of gas and have changed to MPG for Calendar Months. Gives me a much more accurate reading into my driving style.

My over head has read exactly 0.70 more than hand calculations, since I bought the truck, so I can trust it for holding a months worth of data.

I got 12.9 MPG for the month of December.

I'm gonna try this TCW3 and see what happens...I'm under warranty.
