35's on a 2500
 

Do you need a front leveling kit to fit 315/70R17's? Someone told me that you can on a standard 2500 with the leveling kit in front.

No level needed. Depending on what wheels you have and the profile of the tire you'll have minor rubbing at full tilt, but no issues.

I ran them for a few months on my truck before I levelled without a problem.

So you have no rubbing at all, now with the leveling kit in?

He had minor rubbing at full lock, not while driving normal going around turns.
Now that he installed a level kit, there is no rub even at full lock.

Stock wheels means the tires set inside the fedner more. Aftermarket wheels are usually spaced out further to provide more room, so don't go sticking a 13.5" wide tire because it won't fit. It won't fit inside the wheel well without rubbing and it won't even fit the stock wheels correctly.

I have this tire size on mine. The front inside edges rub the edges of the control arms when the wheel is turned all the way to either side.

I still have very minor rubbing when turning the wheels even with the level, but I think it's just on my mud flaps.

You must be rubbing the control arms too, no?
