hey, i got a BFI intake for my truck around 2.5 - 3 years ago. i cant remember if these air filters can be cleaned or do you have to replace them all the time. ever since my accident 2 years ago, i dont remember all the details for all the stuff i put on my truck, i forgot i even had a CAI on my truck... lol

but i just got the OK from my doctor to take a driving test to get my license back! so thats good!

 

Do you have a pic? Lance did Green Filter USA on his last few batches and actually he still has the filter available on his site (which should be shut down imo).

Not sure what he had on his earlier series but maybe Afe.

Most new replacement filters folks get are Amsoil EaAU6075.

I have the KN RF-1026 for mine.

its probly one of the first batches. i know i was one of the fist ones to buy one on here. i havent checked any stores for them here, i didint think they would sell them that big lol

Either the Amsoil part # that i posted or the K&N RF-1041 should be ok.
Or you can use the specs below and see if a local store has them in stock.
Air Filter Style Conical
Length (in) 7.500 in.
Inlet Flange Inside Diameter (in)6.000 in.
Air Filter Top Measurement 5.000 in. diameter
Air Filter Bottom Measurement 7.500 in. diameter

I only got my BFI a few months ago on eBay but i brought the K&N 1041 for a few hundred miles then wanted to go bigger so went to the KN RF-1026

 

so i just take that part number to canadian tire or a parts place, and they will either have one, or order it in for me?

 

If the store can order Amsoil (P/n EaAU6075 or K&N (p/n RF-1041) then they should.
Or see if they have a brand in stock that matches the specs posted.
