The HD 50 SERIES that comes with the kit is 18" long. Although the inlet and outlet dimenions keep changing. If you buy the muffler straight up its 2.75 / 2.25 I believe. If you use it with the kit it states its 3" / 3" I think. So its a bit confusing. I would be open to any suggestions regarding this attempt. I mean in theory/on paper this tech should work. I just really like the design.

 

I have the cherry bomb extreme on my 06 1500 with the hemi. It will sometimes make that really cool crackling noise on cold mornings, usually the first start of the day. Sounds awesome

 

The only thing I regret, I had it dumped underneath which is just a tad too loud in the cab, it doesn't bother me but it bothers some people when they ride with me.
