It's a cst 7" lift it's a kit that includes 4" spindles with 3" coils and no I don't hit anything and it rides good

Reason I ask, is because there have been people here who did a lot of testing on the '06-08 4x2 front suspension, and they found that using a 2" spacer on stock springs causes the UCA to hit the coil bucket during periods of extreme suspension travel. A 2.5" spacer causes the UCA to slam the coil bucket pretty hard, even over speed bumps and potholes. So I was surprised that a 3" longer coil did not cause the same thing on yours. This is good news for me.

So you're saying they are the same free height as stock coils, but they provide lift by sagging less? That makes sense, but less sag would still mean the UCA gets closer to the coil bucket.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

That is all really great news, as long as I can purchase just the CST coils LoL
I've been looking into swapping in coils from a 2500 CTD, but haven't been able to find all of the specs I need to make sure they will fit and do what I want them to. I'm looking to really stiffen up the suspension, and it sounds like the CST coils are it.

Seeing the pics, it all makes sense now. The 3" lift spindles I installed are the same height and angle as the stock spindles, but lift is achieved by moving the hub mount down. Unlike the spindles I installed, the CST spindles are longer and angled differently, allowing for more room between the upper and lower arm. This lets the UCA sit at nearly its normal position even though the spring is lifting the truck. My 3" spindle, with those CST springs, would likely provide the same amount of lift, but would still cause the damned UCA to contact the coil bucket. I love my '08, I really do, but the UCA on the '02-05 1500 was better for lifting, IMO.

You will not need a camber kit. cost me $129 at Goodyear to fix camber.
Thanks for the info on here I also have a 2wd 2007 and I am looking for the best lift and after seeing this it looks like the right one thanks so the lift was pretty easy to install any special tools any thing with the balljoints or tierods
