Oh my sweet jesus. This AC evap core is SHOT TO HELL.

The door that sends air up to the defrost was broken, and the one next to it was rotted with coolant. Guess i'm buying all new doors, too!

Yeah, I did. And it had to come out again after this post was made. That chinese heatercore failed on me, so I had to pull the dash and replace it again, this time with a mopar unit. No issues since!

Interesting to see. What year is your truck and how many miles are on it. I'm just curious as to the life expectancy of the heater core.

Also, do you happen to change the engine coolant every three years?

Yeah...the OEM parts are more expensive, but on stuff like this it pays not to skimp. Even then my heater core failed and had to do it again. Not a problem since though.
