So an 05 QC 4wd is a heavy truck and you need good bottom to mid range. Cams for you off the top of my head would be sidewinder, 210, 210x, or 260 with 260 being the mildest of them. Nice thing about an 05 is you can use diablo and get a custom tune as well as control your trans shifting.

Excellent. Those Cams have been mentioned before. I can't seem to find the 210 or 210X. I better get to searching then. Thanks.

210 and 210x pop up from time to time. If you want a new one you can send the specs to comp and they will grind it for you.

All Engine upgrades are put on hold for a while. Any of the ones I was looking at will VOID the 3 year 100,000 mile Warranty. A Diablo will not. So that will be in the future after the "Break in Period."

You sure about the diablo not voiding it. I would double check before loading any tunes bc it will leave a footprint on your computer once you load the tune.

I asked with the Mechanic about it. Said it would not, However, they called the place the engine came from, and now they're waiting for a confirmation on it. I should know sometime this week. I just dropped a nice chunk of money on the Hemi and do not want to do that again, Ever !

I can tell you from first hand experience that the dealer can tell if the pcm has been flashed and how many times.

It just keeps getting better.
Still on the "Break in phase" with the Brand New 5.7 Hemi. While driving down I-70 in Frederick, Md. I saw a puff of smoke from the rear view mirror. Got off the exit and drifted down the hill back to Frederick. Pulled into a Trucking Company parking log. Oil was everywhere, except inside the engine. Oil pouring out of the bottom like there was no gasket on the oil pan. ZERO oil on the dipstick !
