I did my spark plugs from the top on my 2500, it took a little effort but did not seem that bad. I assume the stock 1500 is tighter by the brake booster. My Lincoln Navigator is another story. They put the stupid EGR tube right across the top of the rear coil. You would think the engineers would think a little bit about maintanance. In that regard I think Chrysler has done a better job than either GM or Ford.

Whoa Nelly!.....taking the fender liners off to change the plugs would be like taking the seats out of ur truck to get to loose change, sure u could do it, but it would be much easier just to slide ur hand under the seat to retrieve said change. Overkill, but to each his own. But then again my ride is not lifted.
