Default New Audio - wow!

I've always been fairly satisfied with my factory system but my son wanted to upgrade with more bass. So, I called and consulted with Crutchfield and wound up with a Pioneer DEH-9400BH head unit, a Sound Ordnance B-8PT 120w powered sub that fits under the passenger seat. I also bought an Axxess steering wheel control adapter and an Axxess "turn-on" harness that bypasses the head unit amp and uses the existing Infinity sound and stock speakers. I wasn't expecting much from the sub, but I was blown away by how much it adds to the system. I was also blown away how much better the Infinity sound and speakers are with the new head unit. The install was smooth and everything worked perfectly right out of the gate. I got it done in half the time I expected it to take. The steering wheel adapter auto senses the vehicle and the radio so that was effortless.

Now I have a great sounding system with ipod control, bluetooth streaming, and bluetooth integration with my phone (system included a mic for the phone integration).

I haven't even tuned everything yet and it already sounds great.

I'm selling my old RAZ unit and ipod adapter if anyone is interested. You can find it here:

I can post some pix if anyone is really interested. Not much to show though really. It is all personal taste i know, but i cant imagine spending anymore time and money would get better results for me or my son. This setup sounds great even at volumes louder than i care for. I am not trying to entertain or irritate the cars in the next lane, just me.

There are mostly good reviews on the sound ordnance sub on the crutchfield site but i was still dubious. But i have to say i am satisfied and i dont have a box or tube to figure out where to put.

Here's the head unit. It has variable color settings but my son has it set to scan where it just constantly rolls through all of the available colors.
