that does suck doesn't it

 

so a question now i was thinkin does warranty only replace with same product or will they let me put in a manual tranny?? cause i was thinking a 5speed or 4 speed with granny low would SWEET

 

no only replaces factory parts that came off the truck unless they are proven to be an issue (valve springs). even the rear ends that blow out and cost 5grand are replaced with the same ones

 

HAell hafter 34,000 miles my auto tranny blew third gear up and warped the torque converter yea chrysler tannys suck

 

seems to be hit or miss. im at 75,000miles and not one hicup and im not nice on the truck at all. i do stay away from second prime though. shardon has stated that this will blow your trans eventually or if your running 350whp or around there. others have made it way pat 100,000 while some have blown them at 90,000 or so.

how bout some symptoms of when it blew???? how were you driving ? what speed, wot? what gear and service every 30,000?

 

yeah serviced every 30k just driving passin a semi and then bang

 

I didnt drive mine hard at all. I mean its a truck you know. I hit about 30 and bam 3 gear blew the hell up.

 

You guys make me nervous...

 

this is all why i don't like auto's it's like you can buy a manual from the factory and it's reliable. or you can get an automatic and basically plan on sometime having to either replace/rebuild/upgrade it. I'd rather get reliability from the factory.

 

well i drive mine like i stole it but go figure the one time i am not it blows damn i wish they did put a 5spd in the hemi but i couldnt find one and they told me in the 1500 you couldnt get them so i was thinkin an aftermarket would work but its under warranty still so i guess ill go with they give me only i think i am gonna have mine rebuilt instead of replaced with the warranty and have built stronger than what it was normally so i am hoping just waiting to hear back
