Default Cutting Converter Off





2003 Ram 4x4 ...if i cut my converter off and leave my oxygen sensors will that affect anything.....just replace the converter with a straight pipe inbetween the sensors ???

Your gonna throw a code for bad cats unless you space your secondary O2 sensors out so they dont get a full reading... pretty much trick then into thinkin the cats are there and working.

well see my factory converter was stopped up, they put a aftermarket on it and its to small not letting it breath right holding air flow back, so i was just goin to put the straight pipe in there.....what do you think ?

Replace it with a good aftermarket or stock. Straight pipe will be a pain in your butt with all the CEL's.

you could always put in a straight pipe and a couple o2 simulators

strait pipe with some helix coils spacing the sensor out of the direct flow of the exhaust. call it a day and enjoy the exhaust note
