Oh yeah, according to your signature you have a 2500 with the 4.7 liter, you may want to change that considering that truck does not exist.

What's funny is that his truck has the normal 5 lug half ton drivetrain. If you knew anything about trucks or Dodge you would notice that his 2500 is no different than a 1500 in the United States. Way to pretty much own your self.

rob_net, care to get a picture of your rear axle and post it up?

if u go into the techinal specs, u can tell by the cargo capacity that they just badged the 1500 as a 2500 there in mexico, because the 2500 can only hold about 1400-1500 pounds there....which is what the 1500's are here> atleast the quad cabs

A 2500 is a 2500 no matter what way you put it.

[sm=icon_rofl.gif] when I went to China on business they had these 3 wheeled carts they used to move heavy loads around with... pretty interesting with little diesel engines. I had a pic of it a long time ago but have no idea where it's at....

Pretty much irrelevant if it says 2500 on the side from the factory...

Anyway, back to the post.

Buddy of mine owned a Dodge Dakota R/T, he was driving in a little snow and he had been using his cruise control. He hit his resume button and because he was much slower then his resume speed the truck tried to speed up too fast and his rear wheels lost traction and he hit the ditch.

He would tell you this is true.

Maybe it is the exchange rate..1500 US = 2500 Mexico....

I too have been told by Law Enforcement friends of mine not to use the cruise when in bad weather, after all it is a computer and it only does what you tell it to.
