RE: 180 T-STAT
I was just on a similar thread on another dodge forum, and quite a few guys there are getting a Mr. Gasket 180* stat from Moe's Performance for $17.95 with free shipping. Nobody there is reporting any problems with it, as far as wrong part, not fitting, etc.
I paid $29.95 plus about $7 shipping for my Jet, so this sounds like a good deal...

thats just a view of the top though. you need to be able to see the bottom with the bypass etc...
dunno why you guys are payin 30+ dollars for a 3 dollar part... go to pepboys and get a Stant #14168 for a 1993 Mazda with a V6. might require a 1mm trim off but this has been the tried and true thermo others have switched to from the posts ive read and people ive talked to. im running th 195 version #14039. other stores have them you jsut have to cross reference the part number.

Lets start with the…
dunno why you guys are payin 30+ dollars for a 3 dollar part...
That is insinuating that those of us that paid over $3 ain’t to awful smart in your book and that my friend is a slam.
go to pepboys and get a Stant #14168 for a 1993 Mazda with a V6
Do you know how many different models of V6 Mazda’s there were in 1993? That’s a lil vague and the Parts guy ain’t gonna magically know what the hell you are asking him for. Even with the part number.
might require a 1mm trim off but this has been the tried and true thermo others have switched to from the posts ive read and people ive talked to
Well trim to me means cut, grind or sand off a mm. Why waste my time when I can just buy the Right one in the first place with no trimming required and it’s actually made for a 2003 and up Hemi. That method is no longer required.

Inot surewhat you were trying to say here. But if I had my druthers I'd put the right one in before I had to grind on one to make it fit.

See the dunno why statement above.
The bottom line is now there are thermostats out and available that fit our trucks. I understand before, you might have had to modify one, but that is no longer the case. Hell Stant even makes a 63mm one but it ain’t 3 bucks.
