Pictures of different tire and lift size combinations
Hey everyone,
I have a 2003 2500 QC 4x4 Laramie that I want to lift and I am having a hard time deciding on the tire size and lift size. I am wanting to do a combination of a 4-6" lift and either 35" or 37" tires. My dilema is that I can't find any pictures to do comparisons with. If anyone has rigs with one of those combinations if you could upload a picture that would be great. I have been able to find 6" lift with 37" tires, but the main one i am looking for is a rig with 6" lift and 35" tires. I want to see if i like the look of it or not.
Pictures of any Gen 3 would be fine, it doesn't have to be pictures of the same truck i have. The main thing i want to look at is fender gap and such.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

RE: Pictures of different tire and lift size combinations
I have a Gen 2 1998 Sport 4X4 with a 6" lift + a 3" body lift. I'm running 35X12.5R17 Dunlop Mud Rover Radials. It had 37's but they were on 15" rims so I gave up 2" on the tires but gained 2" on the wheels. Hopefully this pic helps.

Slayer,
I should have pic's of my 02' QC with 325/65/R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers (35x12.8 18's) with the New Dale Earnhardt Jr. Cannons by next wednesday. You can fit these tires with a ready lift 2" leveling kit ($230 at autoanything.com with free shipping and a t-shirt).

Since you have the luxury of having a solid front axle, I'd got for the 37's. I don't feel it's a good option on a relatively weak IFS truck - i.e. 1500 series, so I have 35's with a 4" suspension lift, but if I had a 2500, I'd go 6+" of lift and put on 37's in a heartbeat.
