i think its worth it but i modifyied my intake a little the k&n intake system for the rams come with a heat sheild to block out hot air well there was some discusion about the intake pulling in more hot air then cold air so i bought this vent that attaches on the right side next to the radiator behind the grill and ran a three inch hose to and through the heat sheild like ram air so the ram air is feeding the k&n filter and intake and the electric supercharger is drawling the air into the intake its hard to explain.

what i really think is worth $75 is the thottle body spacer easy to instal can feel a torque difference and it makes this awsome whistleing sound when the intake is sucking in air

I'd definatly check out the Borla!! Had one on my 3.9L Dakota SI/DO. Sounded awsome! (Kinda Detroit Diesel'ish) NO crackling or high pitch poping. HEY, HemiJR, Where did you get the throttle body spacer? What brand was it? And what year is your truck? Do you have any other intake mods to help it sound that way?

I might have tolook into gettting that one.The old posts on here all pretty much said the throttle body spacer didn't do anything to our trucks and were a complete waste. How much of a difference do you feel in TQ. I know it won't be a ton but anything can help.

Thanks for the reply HemiJR. I will certantly check into that. Had been conemplating buying one of those Tornado intake kits. Prity mutch does the same thing for less money. Freind of mine put one on an S-10 (4 cyl) and could not tell any differance. But that truck is almost as underpowerd as my Plymoth Laser! ( My 1.8L laser ran 13.8sec @ 58 mph in the 1/8 mile track!!!!! THAT SUCKS!!! ) I am also in the prosess of building an electric supercharger myself. I will be taking a used turbo off of a F3 Gleaner combine, removing the exhaust turbine & housing, and hooking up a high output-high speed fan motor off of an Allis Chalmers 78 Air Champ planter unit to the end of the turbo. (This will be going on the PlymothLaser by the way, NOTmy '07 ram.) I think I can get 2-3 psi of boost out of it. Hopefully a 20 or so hp gain. Any more than that and the 1.8L will blow like a gernade! But back to the Ram, I will get one of thoseT.B. spacers and see how I like it.

yes you can feel a slight difference in torque but not much in power i think it was worth the buy and if it wasent it sounds awsome kind of like a turbo whistle just not as long an agressive deffenetly unique.

I have the flowmaster 40 series with single 3" out going to a 90* coming out before the rear tire. same thing. sounds good at low rpm under load but above 2500rpm its not so great. I just enjoy the improved low end. i also have the jet stage 1 and k&n cold air intake
