2004 HD Ram Won't Start

I'm having the first big problem with my '04 2500 Ram. I drove my truck home this morning with no issues what so ever, it ran great as always. I went back out after about 5 hours and it wouldn't start. It turns over and the starter sounds fine but its acting like its not getting any gas (yes..it has gas in it) it only has 38,000 miles on it. Any idea what would make it go from running fine to not starting? Thanks for the help

The only time where I went from having my truck running fine to not running fine was when I was in -20 degree weather and my truck fluids were probably all frozen good. My truck wouldn't start worth a s*** so i just had to heat things up to get working. This post probably doesnt help unless you're living in a real cold place right now, but maybe you might want to just check the basics out and see from there. Fluids / so forth.

yeah, pulling the battery didn't work. I'm gonna go get a computer reader tomorrow and see what codes come up

If your check engine light isn't on, you probably don't have any codes.

Leave the batt connected, pull the pcm/skim fuse (on my 04 1500 its #23).

Buckle the driver seatbelt and close the door.

Turn the key to start and hold it (it won't crank) until you hear 2 chimes.

Replace fuse.

1st time you go to start it, it may take a second or two before it actually cranks, that's normal.

After reading a ton of posts on various sites about resetting pcms, I know that is the only way that works on my 04, 1500. But other trucks may be different. I've left my battery disconnected for days when I was working on the wiring for my tuners and dataloggers and it did not reset the computer, only clock and part of the radio settings.

Is this diesel or gas? If diesel could be a few things, I would start with a fuel filter. also if the air filter has not been replaced check the reader/meter thing on the airbox.

Thanks for the help. I went and got a diagnostic code reader...the code that came up was that the barometric pressure is to low. Any ideas on what would cause that? Thanks
