2006 Hemi, Misfiring?
My 2006 Hemi Megacab with the 4 cylinder shutdown (MDS?)experiences misfire under acceleration everytime. While accelerating, it seems like being in a pre-1970 automobile with leaded gas, it misfires until it clears out under moderate to heavy acceleration. I have brought to the dealership many times, they have checked the trucks computer and say everything is ok, they have also driven it and experienced this issue, yet no resolution. The truck now has 31,000K miles, and the misifiring? feels worse than it did when it was brand new.
Any ideas?

hmmm...i have a feeling i'm gonna be working on this issue next week at work [:@]lol...ummm, almost kinda sounds like injector PW is faster then what it should like (thinks your at like 75% thottle instead of 20%) and then it works its self out as you step on the gas more to induce more air...i dunno, too tired to think lol

Hmm..not exactly sure what PW is...however that does sound like a logical issue.. I'm guessing that would be something that wouldn't throw a check engine light or show up on a scanner...
what exactly did you mean you may be working on this issue later this week..another customers truck acting similar?
Thanks for all and any help you can provide before taking it back to the dealer until they get this resolved!

PW is pulse width.....
what i mean by working on this next week is that I work for Chrysler at the Tech Center and the department i work in is Dealer Technical Operations...basically, I verify the scantool works properly, make sure the flash files are good files, and i also help fix field issues such as this one. so more then likely i'll be getting an e-mail from STAR asking for us to try and come up with a fix for this
