that sounds a little high to me. so he's saying basically $27,000. i like how they try to make it sound like a great price thinking you'd miss the part about putting so much cash/trade down. my opinion i would say $23,000-24,000 (before trade) is where you'd want to be as long as the warranty is still valid. i'm no pro but i'm basing it off of what i've seen them go for less a little for being used.

 

Yeash, for a demo??? Nope, tell'em you're going somewhere else, that price is high for a demo. How many times has he gone to the back room to "Figure" the price for you? I think my guy went back 4 times, then I left, saying I was going to shop around in some neighboring towns, and about an hour later he called me on my cell and gave me the price I was wanting... The problem is, you have to be willing to walk away from the truck that in your head, you've already taken "Mental Ownership" of.

 

I agree with topcop38... About $23-$24K before trade. I figure $12K off + another $2K off for 1000 miles on the odo.

Here's an option... call back and say you'll take the '07 for $25K, no trade. Then sell your old truck for $2K to a used car dealer, or in the classifieds.

For reference, here's a snapshot from a Friday ad in the LA Times... it's the typical discount all year from this dealer on '07 QC SLTs. Other dealers in the area advertise on Sat/Sun, pretty much the same discount. BTW this ad shows the deepest discount I've seen on an '08so far.

As far as warranty, my guess is that the lifetime warranty applies as long as you're the first owner. When I bought a demo back in '00 with 7K miles it was never titled, I was the first owner. But, like everyone else is saying, better check on it...

too damn much for a demo. nothing over $24k. you can go to any dealer and get a new '07 for $27k or less. what kind of financing are they offering....better be next to nothing for that price. i think your *** is gonna hurt for awhile if you take that deal.

 

I bought my 07 qc 2x4 4.7 for 19. And it only had 1200 miles on it. You can do better than the deal your getting.
