Default rancho 5000 shocks
Since these shocks are stiff wouldn't it be better for heavy towing. I have to get new shocks and I am looking at these. I don't care how it rides smooth wise. Also, can I get them 2" longer in the front.

Very good shock, a nice upgrade from stock, but if you can swing the extra cash, the RS9000 series are adjustable. I have the RS9000X and love them...

+1 to what hammer said. Just buy the RS9000 or RS9000xL series shocks....
