I just checked out your vids bwhite, truck sounds great! I'm going to start calling around today for prices on the exhaust. I am still undecided............going to continue reading the exhaust section. Oh, by the way, just ordered my tru flowintake and superchips flaspaq tuner...............Can't friggin wait!

 

Every piece of data I've ever seen says Magnaflow flows better, but I have a FM 50 HD, and it sounds great, especially after the CAI and LT Headers...
Of course, I've never heard ANYTHING sound like a Cherry Bomb...

 

yea.... i had the flowmasters on my old dodge and i wasnt too impressed... got the magnaflow on this one and I am in love!! maybe i'll post a clip like bwhites later...

 

about how much did you pay for your magnaflows, and what model# did you get?

 

well mine was for a 2500 i belive 15791 is the number... and i paid.... like 430 i believe for the kit and just bolted it all up myself....

 

Alright TD. I would like to hear/see an in-cab ride with your Ram/Magnaflow!!! Make sure you get on it a couple times. That's the bad thing about talking about exhaust, you can talk to you're blue in the face, but you'll never be able to fully explain what it sounds like. Thanks to YouTube you have a better way to try and get your point across.

That being said, I got to hear (in person) an 06 ram with the Flowmaster 40 series. That's a different tone entirely. I wouldn't have it on my truck, but I can see how some people would like it...

 

Here is the update..............just had my magnaflow dual exhaust installed. Man it looks and sounds great. My buddy who drove me to pick up my truck is very jealous. His chevy z71 has the flowmaster 40 on it and he likes mine better. Anyways, got a call from the wife and the tuner arrived at my house this morning, and my intake will be here saturday. Sunday, I will be outside getting everything installed. Again, thanks everyone for the responses and for the polls.
