Default Need help with new truck options

Hey all,

I could use some advice.

I'm buying my first Dodge and my first truck. Looking at a 2008 1500 5.7 MDS 4x4 Laramie. It will be3 my daily driver and used for my kids racing. taking bikes and gear to the track and the occasional towing of our toyhauler.

What's the differance between;

Electric Shift-on-the-Fly Part-Time Transfer Case Incl and .Electric Shift, On-Demand Transfer Case

Also, I have to choose betweena power sunroof and a 34 gallon tank. I can't decide which one I'd rather have or which would be more usefull. Do I really want to be driving around with the weight of 34 gallons.....

Does a 4x4 get significantly less mileage than a 4x2, not I'm buying for mileage but if there a huge differance between the 4x4 and the 4x2,,,,well...

ANything else I should know>

Thanks for all your help,

Andy

Im not up to date on the differences between the 4x4's but for the other questions you asked...

The gas tank would proabably come down to how far you want to drive the truck. For example if you have a race to catch on a weekend you may not want to bother with worrying about how much gas you have left. As for the sunroof....dont you get enough air ridingon abike anyways?...

The 4x4 will get the same mileage as the 4x2 or...not any huge difference
