hey i have a 03 ram quadcab 5.7 hemi today i went to start it but it wouldn't so i gave it some gas and it started but once i let off the gas it sputtered out when i tried it again it started but died down three times and cut off does anyone have any ideas i'm thinking egr valve/throttle control sensor my buddy is bringing his diagnostic computer tomorrow i'm just trying to get some more opinions.

 

So it will crank and not idle? It will run as long as you are giving it gas? If so it sounds like a throttle position sensor or a idle air control motor....
