thats good to hear about the 4:56s. my question is how much do they cost and how much to get installed? and if there happens to be a problem because of them, do they void your warranty?

RE: Gear Question
I am just throwing this out there, I have the 360, 46re trans (2nd one since I have owned it) I had 3.73 previously, now 4.56 with non-switchable detroit locker which means I sometimes squeal the tires at low speeds and also sometime hear the clicking noise to allow compensation for turns (not that often) My gas milage has gone up, but anything over 65/70mph my mpg drops really bad. normal roads through town, my gas mileage has improved, but with a heavy foot, it stays about the same as it was before, just not burning up my transmission or tearing up the c-clip which i no longer have. 35" tires and a 6" lift. not bad setup entirely, but my next mods are to strengthen up the rack and pinion steering and the rest of the whole front end or just do a front axle swap.

RE: Gear Question
one more thing, I don't care about the warranty for two reasons, I am already at 97k miles, and the factory differential setup has too many problems. Just my opinion.
thanks man. i gotta a question for anybody that knows.. i have stock gears but can still spin em from a stop light. by switching to 4.56 gears, would i be able to go anywhere if it snowed? prob dumb question but it snows pretty often here and i could just see myself not getting any traction if i had the 4.56 you kno? jus spinning my tires. lemme kno if im a retard or if this could happen ha
