Anyone ever have the problem of a valve tap in their hemi 5.7. I have a 2007 and it has been doing this ever since it rolled out of the dealer.

 

Sounds to me like the infamous "Hemi Tick", you'd have thought that by the '07s they'd figure it out by now...[:@]

Do searches on here for "Hemi Tick" or hell, even Google search it, it's a huge topic...

 

so its not that big of a deal for themto do that i take it if so thats good cause i cant think hall many times i go down the road listening to every sound my truck makes I'm sure some of yall know what im talkin about not long after you get another truck

 

LOL! Yep, every time I do something to my truck, I'm looking for new noises. The Hemi tick is fairly well-documented. It may go away with lotsa miles. My C does it (27K), but I don't think I've heard the truck do it once (92K).
