How's you'r MPG went up down or stayed the same with gas going to $4.00 a gallon soon getting the most out MPG is a must now a days.

Oh yea Hawk I think I keep this Truck I think my next after Car will be a VW Diesel Hybread 70 + MPG.

I like Trucks dont get me wrong and I going to keep this truck long after it's paid for but I tired seeing all that money going in to the tank.

marv i totally agree with you...at 4.00 a gallon gas is rediculous...I do believe I lost about 1 mpg on my overall fuel economy...however, the benefirs from having the new gears more than make up for it

go 456 man! it's virtually same price, and more bang for buck. maybe if you drive a lot on the highway...get your 410....but get a 456. make it worth it. it'll cost a bit more if you want that posi in there...cause that sunnuvabetch is expensive.

I drive 90% HWY at 70 to 80 MPH 4:56 are nice but to deep of a gear for what I want to use them for This is a street truck not a off road truck I thought of giong to a Prerunner type truck but after all Q-Cab with a V-6 not a goog combo I just drag my KTM 535 6 Speed out if I realy want to go fast off road.

AS for Posi It's a nice add on al so but you need to weight the added cost do you realy need it for this case it's a no not needed to speand a extra $400.00 to $700.00 more on a posi unti BUT if my buddy that own's a rear end shop cuts me a killer deal we will see.

I owned many diffrent truck I miss my last truck but it was highly Modified 4X4 lift gears posi ECT it was a very nice truck that SUCKED the gas also thats why I gotten rid of it for this truck to have better MPG and not to have a laddder to get in it, and with a totaly tricked out truck lot of pepole was always looking at it good and bad worring if someone is going to steal it.

I stay with a semi stock looking truck with some minor add on I going to put either the SRT wheelsd on it or the Hemi wheels stock look but clean looking.

After all said and done 4:10 gears for now with a open diff is the best bet for what I want to use the truck for.

Oh yea the Clucth type Of Posi has more maintance than open diff true trak Alburn ect engauge hard and you go though more sets of tires Lockers are not ment for street use and they hit real hard you be hearing a cluck thought the frame of the truck when they engage and think about it if metal to metal engagement after a while some thing has to give.
