My rear brake lights are staying on at all times. When I hit the brake pedal, the third brake light comes on.

Also, my E-brake light comes on at random times while driving, and when I engage the E-brake (in gear or in park) it flashes.

What gives?

I also think this may have something to do with my cruise control kicking off randomly.

I've heard something about a brake pedal switch that could go bad, but have no idea what/where it is or a part number.

 

yeah theres a sensor there thats going bad. Hope parts service reads this. He'll know the part number. Hell he even got me the part number for the $105.00 rubber insert for my cup holder.

 

$105 for a cupholder insert???????[sm=jawdrop.gif]

 

anyone know the name of this sensor so i can try to find one??
