wow...I LUV MY 4.56's
ok....i was drving down the road....and in my new huge ass tow mirrors I see a white ford lightning flying up on me......as he passes me he revs his engine up....well....Im not all about road racing...but this dude was calling me out infront of everyone and I was sick and tired of people trying to race me before I got the 4.56's in, now it's payback time.........the first light he litem up and i ignored it......then at the second light him and his buddy were...like....." it's just a hemi"....i looked over and smiled and laughed...when the light turned green I hit that fricken gas pedal so hard....them 36" iroks spun a few and launched me....I was at the end of first gear when he finally grabbed.....went through 3 lights...which where probably 1/8 mile long at the most......but what mattered the most to me was the guy looked over and gave the thumbs up to me.....then at the next light this guy in a 06 cummin's was yellin' HELL YEAH man.....what you got in there......i replied " just like that guy said....It's just a hemi" and that just made my frickin day......not to mention there were some hot chicks behind me too....lol....

Great story haha. I just get sick of cars tryin to race me cause they never really stand a chance. But i try not to do it to much cause i burn more gas doing it than they are worth.
How much did u pay all together to get those 4.56's installed? and how much did u pay for the gears |

thats sick dude!im with redneck tho..i usually dont cuz i can hear the gas pour out lol..but when your honor is questioned...you gotta haha. it wouldv been i sick to see your truck do that..did you lose your top end speed gettin the gears? thats what i heard id lose if i got them

Yeah i did lose some top end..but I can still tach it out over 100 mph....but the 0-70 is AMAZING! personally that's all i need with 36" tires and body lift......

top end...what i mean is...after 75 MPH it isn't very fast to hit 100 but what am i talking about....i got swampers man.......all in all what I mean is it's quick to hit 70-75MPH but sluggish any higher than that for me.

i hope you went through your break in period before you did that. you should be ok if you drove them a bit beforehand, but don't even think about doing burnouts or anything like that if you just got out of the shop...

oh..k...cool! show those bastards who's boss!!! lol i'm almost jealous that i didn't spring for the 456 just cause it would be fun, but i do a bit of highway now and then and with gas prices i figured i would go conservative. i got 410 instead and i run a 31" tire. it's not bad, but not badass either..lol. congrats on the new gears. great story btw... :D
