well i called service at my dealership and the guy told me i had to drop the transmission to get to the rest of the bolts to drop the oil pan. after deciding there was no way in hell i could drop the tranny, i just drained the oil, put new oil in and put half the bottle of seafoam in it. i clean up, get ready to drive it and take off, drive a good 5 miles or so and everything is great! im so happy! i begin to turn around and everything continues to go well.....almost get home and the dreaded CHECK GAGE light comes on! before when i gave it throttle it would loose pressure....now when i give it throttle it gains.....what the hell!!!!!!!! im in a state of panic/worry/WTF. i need help guys. i cant afford to go get the tranny dropped and have a look at the engine. if she keeps this up, shes up for sale

The increase could be due to the seafoam. A while back I used it on a volvo and experienced the same thing. After idleing for a while then changing the oil, it was fine.

One thing I think you still should look at is a mechanical oil pressure gage with sending unit. This will eliminate any type of electrical problem and they are pretty cheap, but I'd change the oil again to get rid of the seafoam first.

you didn't overfill did you? did you account for the seafoam when you filled up? how much seafoam did you use? was the clicking still there?

seafoam is a lower viscosity than oil. i think that makes it possible to raise your oil pressure a bit. but if it was a plugged screen, the high pressure might be a good sign now.

now normally you change the seafoamed oil out after a few hundred miles. but if you got a lot of **** in there it might break it all loose and dirty your oil real quick. see if oil comes out black/dark on the dipstick. or maybe loosen the plug to just get a few drops out?

i put 5 quarts in there and it calls for 6 in the 4.7 correct? from what i saw on the dip stick it was very clean. i used quakerstate in the green bottle and the oil was a yellowish color, actually hard to see on the dip stick and when i checked the level, it was the same color.

Try quickly pulling your plug after letting the engine sit and cool down for a while. See if there is any sludge that comes out.
