Default 07 2wd spacer problems

I installed 2" spacers above the coils on my 07 Regular cab 1500 2wd. Now everytime I go over bumps the upper control arm comes down and bangs against the upper coil seat. It got a lot better after I had the front end aligned but it still hits quite often. Are there any solutions other that pulling out the spacers?

are you using stock legnth factory shocks? You could replace your upper a frames with earlier 02-05 which are thinner and not as bulky as the 06 and up and gain more room.

No i replaced the shocks with pro comp es3000 which are 2" longer than stock. Are the upper a frames from 02-05 a direct replacement or are there other mods needed?

I think they'll go straight on, I remember reading somewhere that it's a solution for being able to fit 12.5" wide tires on the 06+ coil over trucks with stock rims, something the '02-'05 guys can do, but the newer trucks seem to have issues with unless they go to a wheel with more back spacing...

Hmmm... I will definately look into that. Do you think I am better off trying that or just changing the lift all together. All I am looking to do is basically level it out and clear my BFG 35" All Terrains. I don't want the truck too high because it is a work truck and with all the ins and outs of the tool box with black paint and all.... maybe 3" in the front 1" in the back?
