Thumbs down New owner- Woodgrain has to go! Options? Pics?

OK guys, earlier this week I bought a "new to me" 06 3500 CTD 6spd laramie QC that I love, but I have to eliminate the woodgrain on the interior! I searched on here and could not come up with anything helpful. I did find some brushed aluminum kits for sale on Ebay, but none of them had any pictures of our trucks with the kit installed.

Anyone with some experience or pictures to share?

I am not particularly inclined to shell out one to two hundred bucks for a kit that I can't see first, and most of the drawn discriptions available look like they are for the Navigation unit without the little rectangle cubby under the radio...

Please help!

Thanks for your responses!

Yeah - I'm sure you will be able to find someone wanting that interior and OEM is a million times better than stick-on aftermarket. Make a switch with someone you can meet in person.

I'm thankful to have woodgrain. I had all the silver 80s boomboxes and home stereo components. I don't know why automakers think that should be the "in" thing for interiors today.

Check Stylin' Trucks, they got 'em all from Carbon Fiber to Woodgrains to Billet. Should have plenty of pics. I have an '04 Laramie with the brushed aluminum and never liked it, I'm old school, resisted carbon fiber stocks on my guns for years, kinda wish my dash was woodgrain like in my Grand Cherokee Overland, but never really found it important enough to switch.

What you have to search for is a new bezel, you guys with the 06 and newer have cheaper bezels than the 02-05's.

Just for a few examples

Thanks guys! However, I have the power rear window and heated seat switches in mine, are they easy to put into the ones that have the little cubby?

Seems like all the bezels I like are for the in-dash navigation....

seawind3000, you have a PM...

Thanks again!

thats why I bought the stripped down model! I like the just plain gray plastic dash and love love love the rubber lined floor!! it never made sense to me to have carped in a truck?? I see all these guys buying the weather pro floor coverings and just shake my head because they could have gotten an entire rubber floor from the factory!

Private Message. And yes, it is easy to transfer the switches and stuff over.
