What is a bypass locker for the 4x4 differential?
I seen a thread while scoping out the internet doing a google search and came across a crowd that installed bypass lockers for their 4wd. What does this do? I like gadgets...lol

I think you might be a little confused. the term "locker bypass" refers to a modification of the oem vehichle contols allowing the driver to engage selectable lockers at will. for example jeep lockers will only engage in 4lo from the factory, with a simple rewire they can be engaged in 4lo/4hi/2wd. hope this clears this up a bit.

The only Rams that can benefit from this in stock form are the Power Wagons.

This locker bypass modification is in fact for the Ram Power Wagon. There is one for the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon also. This allows the lockers to be used in high range. Without it the lockers only work in low range.
