Front Wheel Bearings

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 MegaCab 4x4 wjth a 5.9 Cummins it has 54,000 miles on it and today I had to replace the whole front wheel bearins hubs upper and lower ball joints brake rodders and break pads and tie rod ends as well as dust covers. my cost $2300.00. And the garage that did the work said they do one of these about every other week. Is there any recourse with Dodge or Chrysler at all.

You will not get anything from Dodge with 54K on the truck, well unless you bought an extended bumper to bumper.

$2300 seems steep for that work.

Those bearings are really expensive.

Those unit bearing hub assemblies are the single biggest pain with my truck! Everything else in the front end was swapped with greaseable parts. My 2500 is just over 150k miles and it needs a THIRD set of the things. What was wrong with the old style where you could take them apart, regrease them and retorque them. I wish I had the money to put a DynaTrac conversion in the truck. $1800.00 for the kit is steep, but if my truck was newer and I knew what I know now I would do it. The stock assemblies belong in cars, not 3/4 ton trucks!
