I have not changed tires yet, but the fronts do look too small now. Im planning on 275/65-20 Terra Grapplers. 1" taller, but same with. On my truck, I measured the clearance between the upper a arm and tire after the level, and its only 3/4".

I was thinking of 305/50/20 not 55 series

275/60/20 Break down
275mm wide = 10.83"
60 is the aspect ratio. 60% of 275mm= 165mm (rim to road)

In order to get the overall dimension you need to calculate as follows. There are 2 aspect ratio's on a wheel, the top and bottom. We know they are the same obviously so we take:
165mm X 2= 330mm
330mm =12.99"
12.99" of sidewall hight + 20" for the rim =32.99" overall height.

305/55/20
305mm x 55%=167.75mm x 2 = 335.5mm
335.5mm = 13.21" + 20" for the rim = 33.21"

Not much of a difference from the stock size

correct 275/65/20 is 34" tall, but it may be a hard size to find?

Thats why I chose Terra Grapplers. Toyo and Goodyear also make it.

That's good to know. Tire choices for 20s is still pretty limited and expensive.

I wish I didn't have them on my truck. They really don't belong on a 4x4 IMO.

I was wondering if getting rid of the 20s and going to 17s might even be about the same in cost. Depends heavily on how much I would spend on the wheels. Still haven't done that research yet.

mine run 33" and change stock. 275 / 60 / 20r. just measured with a tape.
I've been burning them up and have 40,000 on them know.

Yeah I talked to my dealer about getting these lift struts. I found the part numbers on the off road unlimited site and then found them on the bilstein site. Keystone auto can get them yet so i have to wait a month till they can. I hope to run them at .5 or one inch for lift in additon to my ready lift spacer leveling kit. I will make a post on my findings in the future.
Oh and I owned a grand cherokee which i lifted and installed pro comp 33 inch mts. i parked my new truck next to the jeep when i brought it home and the ram had BIGGER tires. Also remeber when looking at tire sizes companies may list one size but tires also have a actual size to them. Look in a keystone auto catolog or any manufacture website.
