the torsion bars are the stock suspension system for the 02-05 4x4's they are adjustable by two 18mm bolts about in the center of the truck on the crossmember under the tranny. you can tighten the bolts to raise the front of the truck, but the two downfalls are that it will stiffen the ride, and if you go too high your shocks will top out over bumps.

They are a long bar that is twisted to hold up the front suspension. Chrysler has used them forever. All of the 60's and 70's RWD cars had them.
They are used in place of a coil spring.
They are adjustable as far as ride height goes to some extent.

there is a torsion bar key that you can change out from ready lift, to get 2" of lift to level the truck out, or do like i did and put a 2" block in the back to give me 2" of lift over stock. dodge got smart and went back to coil springs on the front of the 1/2 tons they should have kept with coil springs as torsion bars cost a good penny to replace when they break.

2 inch blocks in the rear without a level, you would give a crazy hideous raked out look. leveling the front and putting 2 inch blocks in the rear will give the 2inch lift but you will not be level anymore which is the point of a leveling kit or tbar adjustment.
