so if you dont have the cross pipe you lose somebottom end power because thats what my muffler guy will do is split it and run it all the way back without the H pipe
Do it that way and see what you think. You can always go back and add an H or X later to correct the problem for little cost. But chances are, you'll lose some power.

The way I understand it is that you need the X or H pipe to keep the back pressure equal on both sides. Without the H pipe the back pressure may be higher on one side than the other and not cause the engine to run like it is designed.
Should have used a couple of ball socket connections like on a 5.0 Mustang. If you ever have to drop the exhaust, you're going to have to cut it. I would have put a ball socket behind each converter and in the center of the crossover.
Another alternative would be the split-slip connections like Magnaflow uses.
Looks good though. Nice and even on both sides so it should be balanced pretty well.
