I'm pre wired for fogs / Can I hook up my hella 500's to that instead?

Just wondering if I could some how hook my hella 500 lights up to the pre wiring for the fog lights. My ST diddent come with the fogs, but has the wiring.

I thought about that too, but i eventually want fog lights too. Plus, I think there may be more to it than just plugin em in.

It's pre-wired, but not activated. Another Dodge ploy to make you buy from them. You'll have to have it "turned on" via a trip to the dealer and a hookup to the good old StarScan system...

That I didnt know. So i cant just buy the fog lamps, install, and be good, or maybe throw in a fuse somewhere? bull crap.

nope, every so often someone posts that they put in the fog lights and they just work, but for the most part, you gotta go to the dealer and pay to have 'em enabled...

Don't forget that you also need to buy the new switch for your dash as well.

Yah - the OEM kit comes with the dash replacement light switch. Seems that '06-'08 has to have the dealer intervention to be activated. My dealer did mine for free, and the fogs stay on with the high beams. (took about 5 mins)

It does, but he was wondering if he could hook up some Hella 500's instead of buying the fog lights from the dealer, so he would have to buy the switch to make them work.
