Can i run the tires like this. Ive only got 2wd so if i can run different treads I would really like to it will probably save me 100 bucks. I wanna go trxus mt's in the back and probably bfg at's in the front 33's all way round.

ok awesome thanks. Thats what i figured couldnt see there being a problem. The guy at the local 4x4 shop said otherwise though just looking for the extra dollars lol.

The only other problem I can see out of this is when it comes time to rotate you cannot do a full rortation but other than that it would be good I cannot see it hampering anything.

That was my concern, was the rotation. Other than that, it is perfectly fine to mismatch as described.

oh yeah never even thought about rotating them. I dont drive alot though and i'll probably be gettin a little car this summer i hope so i'll be drving even less, so rotating wont be an issue to often. I may go with 4 mt's now thinkin about that.

I've always had 4x4s and same with my father, but my uncle (a retired mopar mechanic) always had 4x2s in upstate NY. He always had a pair of studded "snow tires" on the rear in winter that not only had a much deeper, more aggressive tread, but also were not even radials. He'd swap them out in late fall/early winter and then in spring, would remove them, put the fronts on the rear and place the "summer radials" on the front, that gave him his rotation too...
