I have a chance to get one for cheap. Now I know borla supplied this muffler on the daytona's which is a 3" inlet to a 2.5" dual. Would this hender the performance on my motor? I currently have the stock muffler on my truck since Im not a fan of noise but the daytona muffler is somewhat quiet even though that contributes to the resonated tips that the daytonas come with.

Just asking since I have heard with a true dual exhaust setup you dont want to go larger than a 2.25" pipe on these trucks.

I know swaping mufflers give a very small gain to them, but I dont want to loose any power either.
