I had mine turned twice in the first 20,000 miles of the truck and I am now at 70,000 and they have no vibration. I suggest just having them turned and save the money for another mod

Hey Nitto... how many miles do you have on your truck since you lifted it. I guess what I am wondering is how is the IFS holding up under those massive tires?

Had the lift and tires on since about 20,000-30,000 miles and I have had no problems with the front end. (knock on wood)

Turned twice in 20k...that's a first. You wouldn't have vibration with new ones either...and they wouldn't be paper thin.

A guy with a spacer is talking about throwing money away...$60 more for brand new rotors vs turning the old ones isn't throwing money away.

Spacer has been removed and I sold if for 10 bucks less then I bought it for and my rotors are still working at 70,000 so I guess they aren't that thin. That and it only cost me $50 total to get my rotors turned 2 times instead of spending way more on new rotors.

All I am saying is that he could save money on new rotors and invest it on another mod.

And if I could find all four rotors for $60 then I wouldn't think twice about swapping them out.

Thats exactly what i was trying to say. They won't turn your rotors down to "paper thin" as you say any way DISTORT. My rotors have been turned once and they arn't but a few thousands thinner than yours and I can go just as far on my turn downs as you can on new ones and they are just as safe. But hey, It's your money and your truck so if thats what you want to do who am i to say you are wrong? This site is all about peoples opinions, this is mine and that is yours. It's all good.

I have been turning rotors for years!!! never a problem! they wont turn a rotor if it is past a certain tolerance, therefore it is still safe. TURN the rotors it is called getting the life out of a part!
