Where's Your Ballast?

1 Attachment(s)
Can anyone post a picture and/or explanation of where/how they mounted their HID ballasts?

I'm having some trouble figuring out where the hell to put it so it doesn't get wet. I've heard to put it in front of the radiator (below) but I'm worried it will get wet there.

And I have HIDs by Twiggy, and I'm not sure if they waterproof or not either.
Anyone know?

That's not a good spot because water and rain can get right where you have it. try to tuck it behind your headlights somewhere but def get it away from right behind the grill.
How much you pay?

PM me for details about Twiggy. Ill give you all the info.

And I have mine mounted in front of the radiator. I have had them there over 2 years. I put a small plastic guard in front of mine. when going down the road it just shields water front directly hitting them. Took 2 minutes to make/install. Used plastic from a package.

It's cool, I steal people's threads all the time!
And I don't normally apologize about it ... oh well!

You can email him at directsaleshids@gmail.com and ask him what hids you need,
or you can google search "hids by twiggy" and see his forum thing (i didn't post the link, cause idk if you can link to another dodge forum and i don't want someone to get mad at me, lol).

He has a ton of info on his forum about the different lights you can get and all that good stuff.

$210. I thought it was steep, but after I researched all the different lights and the flickering issue and stuff like that it was actually a good price.
Plus twiggy custom makes the stuff and has a lifetime warranty. :D and he has kick ass customer service.

I paid for it and recieved the usps tracking number like 3 hours later.

Dog, when you gonna give in and get a pair? when I cracked open my lights I put a small flat piece of aluminum above the bulb and it kind of works like a reflector, cutting off so much of the "blinding light" you aughta try it

HAHA. Hope this doesnt get him upest like he was in the other HID threads. My buddy just got a set for his VW that were bi-xenon and had a shield around the upper part of the bulb so the light only reflected down. Don't know if thats the same thing or not.
