That won't make the ride any better. :D You need to address suspension travel. If you do that by simply putting in more/stiffer springs, it's still gonna ride terrible.

Biggest problem is, the bump stops are there for a reason. Too much more up-travel, and hard parts start meeting each other.... not only a harsh ride, but, noisy too. Not to mention the potential for bending/breaking things. :D

Recommended lowering kit?
Hi I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd. I’ve put lowering shackles on the back but want it lower. Looking to buy a lowering kit. I have 22” srt-10 replica wheels. Which lowering kit should I get?
Thanks https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/dodgefo...4066bfea6.jpeg |
Drop shackles
Installing drop shakles is actually very easy not hard at all i did it myself took about little over an hour or so. I have a 3" front and 8" rear drop on mine i did it all myself obviously with the help of another individual to get the rear axle dropped but its pretty easy not as hard as people think i put a 6" drop rear axle flip kit the 2" drop shakles put the 3" lowering rear shocks. In the front i put 3" lowering springs an 2" lowering shocks.
