Hi there. So I left my truck with my sister as she was moving and remember telling her repeatedly to not force the key into the tailgate lock! Well she broke the key off and now I am left with my tonneau cover on (although it is cloth) and no clue on how to take the handle off as it is in the lock position. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas before I went at it with a hammer. Thanks!

 

reinsert whatever is left of the key and unlock it... then you will have it open for one...
