If they can prove it damaged anything it will which is why I would recommend the new trans cooler, it can create some excess heat which can hurt your trans. With the larger cooler though I am running the same temps as with the stock cooler and the stock converter so no overheating issues. As far as going by looks I doubt they would notice it.

If I was going to drive a truck that was lowered to the ground leveled that had SS badges, I'd want to make damn sure it could wipe out a Hemi with no sweat, which it cannot.
But it CAN and WILL though. STOCK for STOCK the SS will own a ram, Reg Cab w/ a HEMI, Quad Cab w/ a HEMI, doesn't make a difference, if both trucks are stock, the SS is going to win. In order for it to be a race, the RAM needs to have some work done to it (a few bolt on's and tuner) to take on a STOCK SS.

The irony to all that is it tells us what both myself, truckin151, and others already know.....

The SS wins in every instance stock vs. stock...

They took an SS (Clubcab long bed) vs. a RC Long Bed Ram SLT 1500 and the Ram lost in 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile...

Now throw in a quad cab or extended cab Ram (which they dont make anymore) and it's murder all over..

The RWD SS models are less in weight, so they are even faster.....and don't forget the nice GMC Sierra models with their 403hp motors

Hmmm.... I would assume that you are wanting to run a fairly modded SS, your truck would smoke anything else

Yes, a stock SS will beat a stock Hemi....but it won't WIPE it out. A lightning or SRT-10 would WIPE a Hemi out...and that make me want to sport performance badges.

Default Truckin

hey truckin can you give me or find me a link for a Trans Cooler and a torque converter for my truck.. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn 5.7 Hemi. I have 3.93 Gears on a automatic.

How much will they more or less cost and time and labor to install?
