This is the best thread ever!

I like how everyone started out dancing around what to say. You should patent that design and sell them on ebay.

By the way someone asked. Mine is 4" PVC painted with this:

Then I painted with regular spray paint over the top of that with the color I wanted.

The bracket is a custom piece from work and the u-bolt is a piece of 1/4" threaded rod bent in a "U" then I slid a left over piece of fuel line from my Jetski over the rod.

Thumbs up Homemade CAI

Your effort and 'ENGINE-NEWITY' is appreciated with the homemade CAI but with a beautiful truck like yours it should have a color-matched BFI.

I took the money I saved on builing my own CAI and bought a Diablosport off of craigslist for $175!

I couldn't see spending that much bling on something that gets you maybe 1 more hp than the home brew.
