Default Tow Hitch

I'm not really good with knowing if there is a specific type of tow hitch that is a good type or if there is a better place to get a tow hitch than other places but I'm looking to get one adn just wondering a good place to buy one. Are online stores better to get one or would a place like autozone be just as good?

When I bought my 08 it didn't have the tow package on it. A local junkyard had a 2002 ram that had one. I gave 35 bucks for it. My father inlaw had a hoist, so we removed the back two bed bolts and lifted it up a few inches and slid it out. Its really not too hard.
You can also buy a mopar one for like a 100 bucks, and bolts up to the tow bar.
Really you'll want a 2in class IV or V hitch. That should be sufficient. As for place, Im partial to instore just incase something doesn't work. However online does have a better selection. JC Whitney always had a pretty good selection.

You can usually get a nice Reese class IV @ Walmart for a good price.

here ya go http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-08...Q5fAccessories

I got the same one on my 05.It just bolts up to the bar under the rear of the bed.The hole are already there.I got mine off of e-bay also for $35 and then went to the local bolt store and bought some grade 8 bolts.i've towed everything with it from cars on trailers to big old camping trailers that my little 4.7 could barely handle.

P.S. the main title for the link says it's for a 03-08 but if you look in the ad itself it says it's for an 02-08.02's thought 08's are the same.mine said it was for an 02 and it fit perfectly
