Default Bilstein 5100 Level w/ 34" Tires?

Ok, I’m going to be doing the Bilstein 5100 level soon, but instead of going to the fully level setting (2” I think), I’m going to go with the second highest setting (1-3/8” or whatever it is). I know I’m in the minority here, but I like a slightly raked look. I’m also going to go with some aftermarket wheels and new tires as I’m not a big fan of the low-profile look. I’ve read through the Wheel/Tire Fitment sticky multiple times so I have a pretty good idea of what will and will not fit at stock height and at fully leveled. The sticky doesn’t really mention going with the intermediate level so I just want to go through the options I’m considering.

I think I’m going to go with the American Racing 889 Dagger wheel which is a 17x8 with a +12mm offset and 5” backspacing. This will cause the wheels/tires to stick out only slightly past my fender, which is what I personally prefer. The trouble I’m having is deciding on a good tire size to go with this setup. I’m leaning towards LT285/75/17 Terra Grapplers which measure 33.86” x 11.30”. According to the Wheel/Tire Fitment sticky, these will fit even at stock height. So it makes me wonder if they will look silly with the truck halfway leveled. Another size of Terra Grapplers I’m considering is LT305/70/17 which measure 33.98” x 12.36”, but the width of these tires concerns me since the wheel I’m planning on using is 8” wide and has a +12 offset. Can someone can tell me if the 305/70’s will fit or not with this setup?

Kind of surprised nobody has any input on this. The more I look at it, I don't think the 305/70's will fit unless I go with a 9" wide wheel with 4.5" backspacing.

My truck has stock suspension and 285/70/r17 and fit without problems. I am also thinking of leveling but the terra grapplers look good as is.

Yeah with the 285/75's, it's not so much the fit I'm worried about as it is the look with the front end semi-level. I don't ever see anyone on here use the 1.34", they always go to the full 2". There's also not too many people running 34" tires, so I guess I'm wanting to do something that isn't the norm. I'd really just like to see some pictures of trucks with 34's, leveled or not.

I am running my Bilstein 5100 in the 2nd to the top spring seat position (~1.3" lift). Didn't want to go full 2" due to all the issues peolple complained about with the 2.5" spacers (vibrations). I also pull and didn't want the front end pointing to the stars when weight in the back (due to extra 'rake'). So, I did the front as mentioned and put a 1" block on Firestone Ride Rites in the back = perfect. I have Moto Metal 951s with 285-70-17 and it looks just like I wanted it to. It would also look very good with the size you mentioned.

Thanks for the feedback! How the truck will sit while towing is another factor for me only wanting to go with the 1.3" level. Got any pics of your ride?

Could any of please provide me a dimension from the center of the hub to th lip of the fender on both the front and rear? I am on the middle ring and I am 3 inches over stock. 22.5" vs. 25.5". I don't knowIf her was a longer spring installed before I bought it? There is also a steel ring on the top of the strut between the top mount ant the spring rubber that's about 5/8" which.
