Default Rancho RSX9000s Deal Alert; Also Need Advice

For those of you considering changing out the crappy stock shocks on your 3rd Gen Ram, Rancho is having their buy 3, get 1 free sale now (see 4wheelparts.com and I'm sure other places have the same type of deal) through April 30th. I think it's $269.99 for the set without the remote kit.

I have an '04 QC 1500 Hemi 4X4 and plan to crank my torsion bars up 4 turns - someone said on one of the forums that may raise it about 1 inch. Also, looking at buying the Rancho RSX9000s. I though I saw on one of the posts someone mentioning that if you crank the torsion bars up and want to switch to aftermarket shocks in the front that when ordering you need to get front shocks sized for a 2001 Off Road model Ram 4X4 in order to get enough shock length and travel after the torsion bar crank up. Any advice and or part numbers for RSX9000s on this?

Thanks in advance!

Funny thing is PMopar, I don't have 5 driven tires. J/K I knew what you meant and that seems like a good deal. Thanks a million for the heads up. Now to just convince the wife to replace the "new" shocks with more "new" shocks.

I'd look into the Bisteins since you will be cranking the Tbar. I've heard nothing but good about them regardless of make/model.

Don't you need a 5th shock for the spare tire? Sorry, hadn't had enough coffee when I posted that. Corrected to read buy 3, get 1 free.

Everything I've heard about the Bilsteins sounds good, too, but they sure are pricey and I, too, have to convince the wife that the new stock shocks need to be replaced with new aftermarket shocks, and the new stock tires and wheels with even newer tires and wheels.

I put the 9000's on my truck about 2 weeks ago I think and I love them...I set them too 4 when I put them on as most of my driving is around the city. Just one thing...the fronts are real byatch to get on as the rubber boot makes for one hell of a tight fit.
